وَإِذْ قَالَ مُوسَىٰ لِقَوْمِهِۦ يَـٰقَوْمِ لِمَ تُؤۡذُونَنِي وَقَد تَّعْلَمُونَ أَنِّي رَسُولُ ٱللَّهِ إِلَيۡكُمۡۖ فَلَمَّا زَاغُوٓا۟ أَزَاغَ ٱللَّهُ قُلُوبَهُمۡۚ وَٱللَّهُ لَا يَهۡدِي ٱلْقَوْمَ ٱلْفَـٰسِقِينَ ﴿سورة الصف آية ٥﴾.

Chapter (61) sūrat l-ṣaf (The Row)

Sahih International: And [mention, O Muhammad], when Moses said to his people, "O my people, why do you harm me while you certainly know that I am the messenger of Allah to you?" And when they deviated, Allah caused their hearts to deviate. And Allah does not guide the defiantly disobedient people.

Pickthall: And (remember) when Moses said unto his people: O my people! Why persecute ye me, when ye well know that I am Allah's messenger unto you? So when they went astray Allah sent their hearts astray. And Allah guideth not the evil-living folk.

Yusuf Ali: And remember, Moses said to his people: "O my people! why do ye vex and insult me, though ye know that I am the messenger of Allah (sent) to you?" Then when they went wrong, Allah let their hearts go wrong. For Allah guides not those who are rebellious transgressors.

Shakir: And when Musa said to his people: O my people! why do you give me trouble? And you know indeed that I am Allah's messenger to you; but when they turned aside, Allah made their hearts turn aside, and Allah does not guide the transgressing people.

Muhammad Sarwar: Moses said to his people, "Why do you create difficulties for me when you know that I am God's Messenger to you?" When they deviated (from the right path), God led their hearts astray. God does not guide the evil-doing people.

Mohsin Khan: And (remember) when Musa (Moses) said to his people: "O my people! Why do you hurt me while you know certainly that I am the Messenger of Allah to you? So when they turned away (from the Path of Allah), Allah turned their hearts away (from the Right Path). And Allah guides not the people who are Fasiqun (rebellious, disobedient to Allah).

Arberry: And when Moses said to his people, 'O my people, why do you hurt me, though you know I am the Messenger of God to you?' When they swerved, God caused their hearts to swerve; and God. guides never the people of the ungodly.

Dan (ingatlah peristiwa) ketika Nabi Musa berkata kepada kaumnya: " Wahai kaumku! Mengapa kamu menyakiti daku, sedang kamu mengetahui bahawa sesungguhnya aku ini Pesuruh Allah kepada kamu?" Maka ketika mereka menyeleweng (dari kebenaran yang mereka sedia mengetahuinya), Allah selewengkan hati mereka (dari mendapat hidayah petunjuk); dan sememangnya Allah tidak memberi hidayah petunjuk kepada kaum yang fasik - derhaka.

[61:5] Tafsir Jalalayn

(Dan) ingatlah (ketika Musa berkata kepada kaumnya, "Hai kaumku! Mengapa kalian menyakitiku?) mereka mengatakan bahwa Nabi Musa itu orang yang besar buah pelirnya atau berpenyakit burut, padahal kenyataannya tidaklah demikian, dan mereka pun mendustakannya (padahal sesungguhnya) lafal qad di sini menunjukkan makna tahqiq (kalian mengetahui, bahwa aku adalah utusan Allah kepada kalian.") Kalimat wa qad ta`lamuuna dan seterusnya berkedudukan menjadi hal atau kata keterangan keadaan. Dan seorang yang menjadi rasul itu seharusnya kalian hormati. (Maka tatkala mereka berpaling) maksudnya menyimpang dari kebenaran, karena mereka telah menyakitinya (Allah memalingkan hati mereka) dari jalan petunjuk, sesuai dengan apa yang telah ditetapkan-Nya di zaman azali (dan Allah tiada memberi petunjuk kepada kaum yang fasik) yakni orang-orang yang kafir, menurut ilmu dan pengetahuan-Nya.

[61:5] Quraish Shihab

Wahai Muhammad, ingatlah ketika Nabi Mûsâ berkata kepada kaumnya, "Wahai kaum, mengapa kalian meyakitiku padahal kalian tahu bahwa aku adalah utusan Allah kepada kalian?" Maka tatkala mereka terus menyeleweng dari kebenaran, Allah memalingkan hati mereka dari petunjuk. Sesungguhnya Allah tidak akan memberi petunjuk kepada orang-orang yang tidak taat kepada-Nya.

[61:5] Bahasa Indonesia

Dan (ingatlah) ketika Musa berkata kepada kaumnya: "Hai kaumku, mengapa kamu menyakitiku, sedangkan kamu mengetahui bahwa sesungguhnya aku adalah utusan Allah kepadamu?" Maka tatkala mereka berpaling (dari kebenaran), Allah memalingkan hati mereka; dan Allah tidak memberi petunjuk kepada kaum yang fasik.
