Chapter (54) sūrat l-qamar (The Moon)

Sahih International: Racing ahead toward the Caller. The disbelievers will say, "This is a difficult Day."

Pickthall: Hastening toward the summoner; the disbelievers say: This is a hard day.

Yusuf Ali: Hastening, with eyes transfixed, towards the Caller!- "Hard is this Day!", the Unbelievers will say.

Shakir: Hastening to the inviter. The unbelievers shall say: This is a hard day.

Muhammad Sarwar: These disbelievers will say, "This is a hard day".

Mohsin Khan: Hastening towards the caller, the disbelievers will say: "This is a hard Day."

Arberry: running with outstretched necks to the Caller. The unbelievers shall say, 'This is a hard day!'

Masing-masing dengan cepatnya menuju kepada penyeru itu. (Pada saat yang demikian), orang-orang yang kafir berkata: Hari ini ialah hari yang amat sukar!

(Mereka datang dengan cepat) seraya menjulurkan leher-leher mereka (kepada penyeru itu. Orang-orang kafir berkata) orang-orang kafir di antara mereka mengatakan, ("Ini adalah hari yang berat") atau sulit bagi orang-orang kafir, sebagaimana yang telah dijelaskan dalam surah Al Muddatstsir melalui firman-Nya, "Hari yang sulit bagi orang-orang kafir." (Q.S. Al-Muddatstsir 9-10)
