۞ وَلَقَدْ فَتَنَّا قَبْلَهُمْ قَوْمَ فِرْعَوْنَ وَجَاءَهُمْ رَسُولٌ كَرِيمٌ ﴿سورة الدخان آية ١٧﴾.

[44:17] Basmeih

Dan demi Sesungguhnya! Sebelum mereka, Kami telah menguji kaum Firaun, dan merekapun telah didatangi oleh seorang Rasul (Nabi Musa) Yang mulia, -

[44:17] Tafsir Jalalayn

(Sesungguhnya telah Kami coba) Kami uji (sebelum mereka kaum Firaun) berikut Firaun sendiri (dan telah datang kepada mereka seorang rasul) yaitu Nabi Musa.s. (yang mulia) di sisi Allah swt.

[44:17] Quraish Shihab

Sebelum orang-orang kafir Mekah, Kami telah menguji kaum Fir'aun dengan mengajak mereka untuk beriman. Mereka didatangi Mûsâ, seorang rasul yang mulia di sisi Allah. Tetapi, kemudian, mereka mengingkarinya dengan congkak. Begitu pula dengan orang-orang musyrik Mekah ini.

Sesungguhnya sebelum mereka telah Kami uji kaum Fir'aun dan telah datang kepada mereka seorang rasul yang mulia,

Sahih International: And We had already tried before them the people of Pharaoh, and there came to them a noble messenger,

Pickthall: And verily We tried before them Pharaoh's folk, when there came unto them a noble messenger,

Yusuf Ali: We did, before them, try the people of Pharaoh: there came to them a messenger most honourable,

Shakir: And certainly We tried before them the people of Firon, and there came to them a noble messenger,
