Chapter (36) sūrat yā sīn
Sahih International : His command is only when He intends a thing that He says to it, "Be," and it is.
Pickthall : But His command, when He intendeth a thing, is only that He saith unto it: Be! and it is.
Yusuf Ali : Verily, when He intends a thing, His Command is, "be", and it is!
Shakir : His command, when He intends anything, is only to say to it: Be, so it is.
Muhammad Sarwar : Whenever He decides to create something He has only to say, "Exist," and it comes into existence.
Mohsin Khan : Verily, His Command, when He intends a thing, is only that He says to it, "Be!" and it is!
Arberry : His command, when He desires a thing, is to say to it 'Be,' and it is.

(Sesungguhnya perkara-Nya) keadaan-Nya (apabila Dia menghendaki sesuatu) yakni berkehendak menciptakan sesuatu (hanyalah berkata kepadanya, "Jadilah," maka terjadilah ia) berujudlah sesuatu itu. Menurut qiraat yang lain lafal Fayakuunu dibaca Fayakuna karena diathafkan kepada lafal Yaquula.

Dalam menciptakan sesuatu, jika Dia berkehendak menciptakannya, Dia hanya berkata, "Jadilah!" Sesuatu yang dikehendaki itu pun terjadi seketika itu juga.
