Chapter (10) sūrat yūnus (Jonah)
Sahih International: Unquestionably, to Allah belongs whatever is in the heavens and the earth. Unquestionably, the promise of Allah is truth, but most of them do not know
Pickthall: Lo! verily all that is in the heavens and the earth is Allah's. Lo! verily Allah's promise is true. But most of them know not.
Yusuf Ali: Is it not (the case) that to Allah belongeth whatever is in the heavens and on earth? Is it not (the case) that Allah's promise is assuredly true? Yet most of them understand not.
Shakir: Now surely Allah's is what is in the heavens and the earth; now surely Allah's promise is true, but most of them do not know.
Muhammad Sarwar: All that is in the heavens and the earth certainly belongs to God and His promise is true, but many people do not know this.
Mohsin Khan: No doubt, surely, all that is in the heavens and the earth belongs to Allah. No doubt, surely, Allah's Promise is true. But most of them know not.
Arberry: Why, surely to God belongs everything that is in the heavens and earth. Why, surely God's promise is true; but the most of them have no knowledge
Ingatlah! Sesungguhnya segala yang ada di langit dan di bumi adalah kepunyaan Allah. Awaslah! Sesungguhnya janji Allah itu adalah benar, tetapi kebanyakan manusia tidak mengetahui.
[10:55] Tafsir Jalalayn
(Ingatlah, sesungguhnya kepunyaan Allah apa yang ada di langit dan di bumi. Ingatlah sesungguhnya janji Allah itu) mengenai hari berbangkit dan hari pembalasan (benar) pasti (tetapi kebanyakan mereka) manusia (tidak mengetahui) hal itu.

Hendaknya manusa mengetahui bahwa Allah adalah Pemilik dan Pengendali semua yang ada di langit dan di bumi, dan bahwa janji-Nya adalah benar hingga tidak ada sesuatu pun yang dapat melemahkan-Nya dan menghindar dari balasan-Nya. Tetapi mereka telah tertipu oleh kehidupan dunia, dan mereka tidak mengetahuinya dengan sbenarnya.
