إِنَّ عِبَادِي لَيْسَ لَكَ عَلَيْهِمْ سُلْطَـٰنٌ إِلَّا مَنِ ٱتَّبَعَكَ مِنَ ٱلْغَاوِينَ ﴿سورة الحجر آية ٤٢﴾.

[15:42] Basmeih

"Sesungguhnya hamba-hambaKu, tidaklah ada bagimu sebarang kuasa untuk menyesatkan mereka, kecuali sesiapa yang menurutmu dari orang-orang yang sesat (dengan pilihannya sendiri).

[15:42] Tafsir Jalalayn

(Sesungguhnya hamba-hamba-Ku) yang beriman (tidak ada kekuasaan bagimu terhadap mereka) kamu tidak mempunyai kekuatan (kecuali) hanyalah (orang-orang yang mengikut kalian; yaitu orang-orang yang sesat) yakni orang-orang kafir.

[15:42] Quraish Shihab

Allah berfirman, "Sesungguhnya hamba-hamba-Ku yang tulus murni dan ikhlas dalam sikap beragama itu memang tidak dapat kau sesatkan. Tetapi, orang-orang tersesat yang mengikutimu, jiwa mereka dapat kau kuasai dan kau sesatkan.

[15:42] Bahasa Indonesia

Sesungguhnya hamba-hamba-Ku tidak ada kekuasaan bagimu terhadap mereka, kecuali orang-orang yang mengikut kamu, yaitu orang-orang yang sesat.

Sahih International: Indeed, My servants - no authority will you have over them, except those who follow you of the deviators.

Pickthall: Lo! as for My slaves, thou hast no power over any of them save such of the froward as follow thee,

Yusuf Ali: "For over My servants no authority shalt thou have, except such as put themselves in the wrong and follow thee."

Shakir: Surely. as regards My servants, you have no authority, over them except those who follow you of the deviators.

Muhammad Sarwar: and you have no authority over My servants except the erring ones who follow you.

Mohsin Khan: "Certainly, you shall have no authority over My slaves, except those who follow you of the Ghawin (Mushrikun and those who go astray, criminals, polytheists, and evil-doers, etc.).
