وَبَشِّرِ ٱلَّذِينَ ءَامَنُوا۟ وَعَمِلُوا۟ ٱلصَّـٰلِحَـٰتِ أَنَّ لَهُمْ جَنَّـٰتٍ تَجۡرِي مِن تَحْتِهَا ٱلۡأَنۡهَٰرُۖ كُلَّمَا رُزِقُوا۟ مِنْهَا مِن ثَمَرَةٍ رِّزْقًاۙ قَالُوا۟ هَـٰذَا ٱلَّذِي رُزِقْنَا مِن قَبۡلُۖ وَأُتُوا۟ بِهِۦ مُتَشَـٰبِهًاۖ وَلَهُمْ فِيهَآ أَزْوَٰجٌ مُّطَهَّرَةٌۖ وَهُمْ فِيهَا خَـٰلِدُونَ ﴿سورة البقرة آية ٢٥﴾.

Chapter (2) sūrat l-baqarah (The Cow)

Sahih International: And give good tidings to those who believe and do righteous deeds that they will have gardens [in Paradise] beneath which rivers flow. Whenever they are provided with a provision of fruit therefrom, they will say, "This is what we were provided with before." And it is given to them in likeness. And they will have therein purified spouses, and they will abide therein eternally.

Pickthall: And give glad tidings (O Muhammad) unto those who believe and do good works; that theirs are Gardens underneath which rivers flow; as often as they are regaled with food of the fruit thereof, they say: this is what was given us aforetime; and it is given to them in resemblance. There for them are pure companions; there for ever they abide.

Yusuf Ali: But give glad tidings to those who believe and work righteousness, that their portion is Gardens, beneath which rivers flow. Every time they are fed with fruits therefrom, they say: "Why, this is what we were fed with before," for they are given things in similitude; and they have therein companions pure (and holy); and they abide therein (for ever).

Shakir: And convey good news to those who believe and do good deeds, that they shall have gardens in which rivers flow; whenever they shall be given a portion of the fruit thereof, they shall say: This is what was given to us before; and they shall be given the like of it, and they shall have pure mates in them, and in them, they shall abide.

Muhammad Sarwar: (Muhammad), tell the righteously striving believers of the happy news, that for them there are gardens wherein streams flow. Whenever they get any fruit from the gardens as food, they will say, "This is just what we had before (we came here). These fruits are produced very much like them (those we had before)." They will have purified spouses and it is they who will live forever.

Mohsin Khan: And give glad tidings to those who believe and do righteous good deeds, that for them will be Gardens under which rivers flow (Paradise). Every time they will be provided with a fruit therefrom, they will say: "This is what we were provided with before," and they will be given things in resemblance (i.e. in the same form but different in taste) and they shall have therein Azwajun Mutahharatun (purified mates or wives), (having no menses, stools, urine, etc.) and they will abide therein forever.

Arberry: Give thou good tidings to those who believe and do deeds of righteousness, that for them await gardens underneath which rivers flow; whensoever they are provided with fruits therefrom they shall say, 'This is that wherewithal we were provided before'; that they shall be given in perfect semblance; and there for them shall be spouses purified; therein they shall dwell forever.

Dan berilah khabar gembira kepada orang-orang yang beriman dan beramal soleh, sesungguhnya mereka beroleh syurga yang mengalir di bawahnya beberapa sungai; tiap-tiap kali mereka diberikan satu pemberian dari sejenis buah-buahan syurga itu, mereka berkata: "Inilah yang telah diberikan kepada kami dahulu"; dan mereka diberikan rezeki itu yang sama rupanya (tetapi berlainan hakikatnya), dan disediakan untuk mereka dalam syurga itu pasangan-pasangan, isteri-isteri yang sentiasa bersih suci, sedang mereka pula kekal di dalamnya selama-lamanya.
[2:25] Tafsir Jalalayn
(Dan sampaikanlah berita gembira) kabarkanlah (kepada orang-orang yang beriman) yang membenarkan Allah (dan mengerjakan kebaikan), baik yang fardu atau yang sunah (bahwa bagi mereka disediakan surga-surga), yaitu taman-taman yang ada pepohonan dan tempat-tempat kediaman (yang mengalir di bawahnya) maksudnya di bawah kayu-kayuan dan mahligai-mahligainya (sungai-sungai) maksudnya air yang berada di sungai-sungai itu, karena sungai artinya ialah galian tempat mengalirnya air, sebab airlah yang telah menggali atau menjadikannya 'nahr' dan menisbatkan 'mengalir' pada selokan disebut 'majaz' atau simbolisme. (Setiap mereka diberi rezeki di dalam surga itu) maksudnya diberi makanan (berupa buah-buahan, mereka mengatakan, "Inilah yang pernah) maksudnya seperti inilah yang pernah (diberikan kepada kami dulu"), yakni sebelum masuk surga, karena buah-buahan itu seperti itu pula ciri masing-masingnya, hampir serupa. (Mereka disuguhi) atau dipetikkan buah itu (dalam keadaan serupa), yakni warnanya tetapi berbeda rasanya, (dan diberi istri-istri) berupa wanita-wanita cantik dan selainnya, (yang suci) suci dari haid dan dari kotoran lainnya, (dan mereka kekal di dalamnya) untuk selama-lamanya, hingga mereka tak pernah fana dan tidak pula dikeluarkan dari dalamnya.

Jika neraka merupakan ganjaran bagi orang-orang kafir, maka surga adalah balasan bagi orang-orang Mukmin. Kabarkanlah kepada orang-orang yang percaya kepada Allah, Rasul dan Kitab-Nya; tunduk kepada kebenaran tanpa ada keraguan, dan mengerjakan amal saleh, bahwa bagi mereka telah disediakan surga yang penuh dengan buah-buahan, pepohonan dan istana-istana, dengan sungai-sungai yang mengalir di bawahnya. Setiap kali Allah memberikan rezeki kepada mereka di dalam surga dengan sebagian buah- buahannya, mereka berkata, "Ini seperti apa yang telah diberikan kepada kita sebelumnya." Karena, jenis dan bentuk buah-buahan yang mereka terima ini memang menyerupai apa yang mereka kenal, tetapi memiliki keistimewaan rasa dan kelezatan. Mereka juga diberikan pasangan yang benar-benar suci dan tidak tercela sedikit pun. Mereka akan kekal di dalam surga ini dan tidak akan keluar darinya.

Dan sampaikanlah berita gembira kepada mereka yang beriman dan berbuat baik, bahwa bagi mereka disediakan surga-surga yang mengalir sungai-sungai di dalamnya. Setiap mereka diberi rezeki buah-buahan dalam surga-surga itu, mereka mengatakan: "Inilah yang pernah diberikan kepada kami dahulu". Mereka diberi buah-buahan yang serupa dan untuk mereka di dalamnya ada isteri-isteri yang suci dan mereka kekal di dalamnya.
