وَمَا قَدَرُوا۟ ٱللَّهَ حَقَّ قَدْرِهِۦ وَٱلْأَرْضُ جَمِيعًا قَبْضَتُهُۥ يَوْمَ ٱلْقِيَـٰمَةِ وَٱلسَّمَـٰوَٰتُ مَطْوِيَّـٰتٌۢ بِيَمِينِهِۦۚ سُبْحَـٰنَهُۥ وَتَعَـٰلَىٰ عَمَّا يُشْرِكُونَ ﴿سورة الزمر آية ٦٧﴾.

Chapter (39) sūrat l-zumar (The Groups)

Sahih International: They have not appraised Allah with true appraisal, while the earth entirely will be [within] His grip on the Day of Resurrection, and the heavens will be folded in His right hand. Exalted is He and high above what they associate with Him.

Pickthall: And they esteem not Allah as He hath the right to be esteemed, when the whole earth is His handful on the Day of Resurrection, and the heavens are rolled in His right hand. Glorified is He and High Exalted from all that they ascribe as partner (unto Him).

Yusuf Ali: No just estimate have they made of Allah, such as is due to Him: On the Day of Judgment the whole of the earth will be but His handful, and the heavens will be rolled up in His right hand: Glory to Him! High is He above the Partners they attribute to Him!

Shakir: And they have not honored Allah with the honor that is due to Him; and the whole earth shall be in His grip on the day of resurrection and the heavens rolled up in His right hand; glory be to Him, and may He be exalted above what they associate (with Him).

Muhammad Sarwar: They have not paid due respect to God. The whole earth will be gripped in His hands on the Day of Judgment and the heavens will be just like a scroll in His right hand. God is too Glorious and High to be considered equal to their idols.

Mohsin Khan: They made not a just estimate of Allah such as is due to Him. And on the Day of Resurrection the whole of the earth will be grasped by His Hand and the heavens will be rolled up in His Right Hand. Glorified is He, and High is He above all that they associate as partners with Him!

Arberry: They measure not God with His true measure. The earth altogether shall be His handful on the Day of Resurrection, and the heavens shall be rolled up in His right hand. Glory be to Him! High be He exalted above that they associate!

Dan mereka (yang musyrik) tidak menghormati Allah dengan penghormatan yang sewajibnya diberikan kepadaNya, sedang bumi seluruhnya - pada hari kiamat - dalam genggaman kuasaNya, dan langit tergulung dengan kekuasaanNya. Maha Sucilah Ia dan Tertinggi keadaanNya dari apa yang mereka sekutukan.
[39:67] Tafsir Jalalayn
(Dan mereka tidak mengagungkan Allah dengan pengagungan yang semestinya) yakni mereka tidak mengenal Allah dengan pengenalan yang sebenarnya; atau, mereka tidak mengagungkan-Nya dengan pengagungan yang sesungguhnya sewaktu mereka menyekutukan-Nya dengan selain-Nya (padahal bumi seluruhnya) lafal ayat ini menjadi Hal dan maksud dari lafal Jamii'an ialah bumi yang berlapis tujuh itu (dalam genggaman kekuasaan-Nya) maksudnya berada di dalam kekuasaan dan tasharuf-Nya (pada hari kiamat dan langit digulung) dilipat menjadi satu (dengan tangan kanan-Nya) yakni dengan kekuasaan-Nya (Maha Suci dan Maha Tinggi Allah dari apa yang mereka persekutukan) bersama-Nya.
[39:67] Quraish Shihab
Orang-orang musyrik itu tidak mengetahui dan tidak mengagungkan Allah sebagaimana mestinya, karena mereka menyekutukan-Nya dengan yang lain. Mereka juga mengajak Rasulullah saw. untuk, bersama mereka, menyekutukan Allah. Padahal bumi, dengan segala isinya, berada dalam genggaman-Nya pada hari kiamat. Sementara langit, dengan seluruh lapisannya, terlipat di tangan kanan-Nya. Allah Mahasuci dari segala kekurangan, dan Dia Mahatinggi dari apa saja selain Dia yang mereka persekutukan dengan-Nya.

Dan mereka tidak mengagungkan Allah dengan pengagungan yang semestinya padahal bumi seluruhnya dalam genggaman-Nya pada hari kiamat dan langit digulung dengan tangan kanan-Nya. Maha Suci Tuhan dan Maha Tinggi Dia dari apa yang mereka persekutukan.
