Chapter (54) sūrat l-qamar (The Moon)
Sahih International: And Our command is but one, like a glance of the eye.
Pickthall: And Our commandment is but one (commandment), as the twinkling of an eye.
Yusuf Ali: And Our Command is but a single (Act),- like the twinkling of an eye.
Shakir: And Our command is but one, as the twinkling of an eye.
Muhammad Sarwar: It takes only a single command from Us (to bring the Day of Judgment) and that can be achieved within the twinkling of an eye.
Mohsin Khan: And Our Commandment is but one, as the twinkling of an eye.
Arberry: Our commandment is but one word, as the twinkling of an eye.
Dan hal Kami (dalam melaksanakan apa yang Kami kehendaki), hanyalah satu cara sahaja, (cepat jadinya) seperti sekelip mata.
[54:50] Tafsir Jalalayn
(Dan tiada lain perintah Kami) terhadap sesuatu yang Kami kehendaki ada (hanyalah) sekali (satu firman seperti kejapan mata) dalam hal kecepatannya, yaitu melalui firman-Nya 'Kun' yakni adalah kamu, maka sesuatu yang dikehendaki itu langsung ada dengan seketika; pengertian ini diungkapkan pula oleh firman lainnya, yaitu, "Sesungguhnya keadaan-Nya apabila Dia menghendaki sesuatu hanyalah berkata kepadanya, 'Jadilah', maka terjadilah ia." (Q.S. Yaasin, 82)
