ذَٰلِكَ بِأَنَّهُمْ قَالُوا۟ لَن تَمَسَّنَا ٱلنَّارُ إِلَّآ أَيَّامًا مَّعْدُودَٰتٍۖ وَغَرَّهُمْ فِي دِينِهِم مَّا كَانُوا۟ يَفْتَرُونَ ﴿سورة آل عمران آية ٢٤﴾.

Terjemahan Tafsir Ibnu Kathir - Surah Ali Imran Ayat 23 - 25 asas

[3:24] Basmeih

Yang demikian ialah disebabkan mereka (mendakwa dengan) berkata: "Kami tidak sekali-kali akan disentuh oleh api neraka melainkan beberapa hari sahaja yang boleh dihitung". Mereka (sebenarnya) telah diperdayakan dalam ugama mereka, oleh dakwaan-dakwaan dusta yang mereka telah ada-adakan.

[3:24] Tafsir Jalalayn

(Hal itu) yakni berpaling dan menolak (karena mereka mengatakan) disebabkan oleh ucapan mereka (Kami tidak akan disentuh oleh api neraka kecuali beberapa hari yang berbilang) hanya 40 hari, yakni selama mereka menyembah anak lembu lalu akan dihentikan terhadap mereka. (Mereka diperdayakan dalam agama mereka) berkaitan dengan firman-Nya (oleh apa yang mereka ada-adakan) berupa ucapan mereka tadi.

[3:24] Quraish Shihab

Orang-orang Yahudi yang berpaling itu memang telah tertipu oleh anggapan dan angan-angan kosong mereka. Mereka, misalnya, menganggap bahwa mereka hanya akan disiksa api neraka beberapa hari saja. Anggapan dan angan-angan kosong itu dilatarbelakangi oleh kesombongan dan kebohongan mereka yang terus menerus dalam sikap beragama mereka.

[3:24] Bahasa Indonesia

Hal itu adalah karena mereka mengaku: "Kami tidak akan disentuh oleh api neraka kecuali beberapa hari yang dapat dihitung". Mereka diperdayakan dalam agama mereka oleh apa yang selalu mereka ada-adakan.

Sahih International: That is because they say, "Never will the Fire touch us except for [a few] numbered days," and [because] they were deluded in their religion by what they were inventing.

Pickthall: That is because they say: The Fire will not touch us save for a certain number of days. That which they used to invent hath deceived them regarding their religion.

Yusuf Ali: This because they say: "The Fire shall not touch us but for a few numbered days": For their forgeries deceive them as to their own religion.

Shakir: This is because they say: The fire shall not touch us but for a few days; and what they have forged deceives them in the matter of their religion.

Muhammad Sarwar: because of their belief that the fire will only touch them for a few days. This fabricated belief has deceived them in matters of their religion.

Mohsin Khan: This is because they say: "The Fire shall not touch us but for a number of days." And that which they used to invent regarding their religion has deceived them.

Arberry: That, because they said, 'The Fire shall not touch us, except for a number of days'; and the lies they forged has deluded them in their religion.
