(Bukankah Dia mendapatimu) Istifham atau kata tanya di sini mengandung makna Taqrir atau menetapkan (sebagai seorang yatim) karena ayahmu telah mati meninggalkan kamu sebelum kamu dilahirkan, atau sesudahnya (lalu Dia melindungimu) yaitu dengan cara menyerahkan dirimu ke asuhan pamanmu Abu Thalib.
