Sahih International : And He found you poor and made [you] self-sufficient.
Pickthall : Did He not find thee destitute and enrich (thee)?
Yusuf Ali : And He found thee in need, and made thee independent.

(Dan Dia mendapatimu sebagai seorang yang kekurangan) atau orang yang fakir (lalu Dia memberikan kecukupan) kepadamu dengan pemberian yang kamu merasa puas dengannya, yaitu dari ganimah dan dari lain-lainnya. Di dalam sebuah hadis disebutkan, "Tiadalah kaya itu karena banyaknya harta, tetapi kaya itu adalah kaya jiwa."
