فَقَدْ كَذَّبُوا۟ بِٱلْحَقِّ لَمَّا جَآءَهُمْۖ فَسَوْفَ يَأْتِيهِمْ أَنۢبَـٰٓؤُا۟ مَا كَانُوا۟ بِهِۦ يَسْتَهْزِءُونَ ﴿سورة الأنعام آية ٥﴾.

[6:5] Basmeih

Sesungguhnya mereka telah mendustakan kebenaran (Al-Quran) ketika ia sampai kepada mereka. Oleh itu, akan datanglah kepada mereka berita (yang membuktikan kebenaran) apa yang mereka selalu ejek-ejek itu (iaitu mereka akan ditimpa bala bencana).

[6:5] Tafsir Jalalayn

(Sesungguhnya mereka telah mendustakan yang hak) yakni Alquran (tatkala sampai kepada mereka maka akan sampai kepada mereka berita-berita) akibat-akibat (yang selalu mereka perolok-olokkan.)

[6:5] Quraish Shihab

Sungguh, mereka telah mendustakan al-Qur'ân pada saat diturunkan kepada mereka. Padahal, al-Qur'ân adalah suatu kebanaran yang tidak akan pernah salah. Mereka pasti akan ditimpa siksaan dunia dan akhirat seperti yang telah diberitakan oleh al-Qur'ân. Kebenaran ancaman yang dulu mereka cemoohkan akan menjadi jelas.

[6:5] Bahasa Indonesia

Sesungguhnya mereka telah mendustakan yang haq (Al-Quran) tatkala sampai kepada mereka, maka kelak akan sampai kepada mereka (kenyataan dari) berita-berita yang selalu mereka perolok-olokkan.

Sahih International: For they had denied the truth when it came to them, but there is going to reach them the news of what they used to ridicule.

Pickthall: And they denied the truth when it came unto them. But there will come unto them the tidings of that which they used to deride.

Yusuf Ali: And now they reject the truth when it reaches them: but soon shall they learn the reality of what they used to mock at.

Shakir: So they have indeed rejected the truth when it came to them; therefore the truth of what they mocked at will shine upon them.

Muhammad Sarwar: They have refused the Truth (Muhammad's message) that has come to them but they will soon learn the consequences of their mocking.

Mohsin Khan: Indeed, they rejected the truth (the Quran and Muhammad SAW) when it came to them, but there will come to them the news of that (the torment) which they used to mock at.

Arberry: They cried lies to the truth when it came to them, but there shall come to them news of that they were mocking.
