Chapter (35) sūrat fāṭir (The Originator)
Sahih International: O mankind, you are those in need of Allah , while Allah is the Free of need, the Praiseworthy.
Pickthall: O mankind! Ye are the poor in your relation to Allah. And Allah! He is the Absolute, the Owner of Praise.
Yusuf Ali: O ye men! It is ye that have need of Allah: but Allah is the One Free of all wants, worthy of all praise.
Shakir: O men! you are they who stand in need of Allah, and Allah is He Who is the Self-sufficient, the Praised One.
Muhammad Sarwar: People, you are always in need of God and God is Self-sufficient and Praiseworthy.
Mohsin Khan: O mankind! it is you who stand in need of Allah, but Allah is Rich (Free of all wants and needs), Worthy of all praise.
Arberry: O men, you are the ones that have need of God; He is the All-sufficient, the All-laudable.
(Oleh kerana Allah menguasai segala-galanya, maka) wahai umat manusia, kamulah yang sentiasa berhajat kepada Allah (dalam segala perkara), sedang Allah Dia lah sahaja Yang Maha Kaya, lagi Maha Terpuji.
[35:15] Tafsir Jalalayn
(Hai manusia! Kalianlah yang berkehendak kepada Allah) dalam keadaan bagaimana pun (dan Allah, Dialah Yang Maha Kaya) tidak membutuhkan makhluk-Nya (lagi Maha Terpuji) atas perbuatan-Nya terhadap mereka.

Wahai umat manusia, sungguh kalian membutuhkan Allah dalam segala hal. Hanya Allahlah yang Mahakaya dan tidak membutuhkan keberadaan ciptaan-Nya. Oleh karena itu, Dia berhak mendapatkan puja dan puji dalam segala situasi.
