لَّا تَجِدُ قَوْمًا يُؤۡمِنُونَ بِٱللَّهِ وَٱلۡيَوۡمِ ٱلۡأٓخِرِ يُوَآدُّونَ مَنۡ حَآدَّ ٱللَّهَ وَرَسُولَهُۥ وَلَوۡ كَانُوٓاْ ءَابَآءَهُمۡ أَوۡ أَبۡنَآءَهُمۡ أَوۡ إِخۡوَٰنَهُمۡ أَوۡ عَشِيرَتَهُمۡۚ أُوْلَٰٓئِكَ كَتَبَ فِي قُلُوبِهِمُ ٱلۡإِيمَٰنَ وَأَيَّدَهُم بِرُوحٍ مِّنۡهُۖ وَيُدۡخِلُهُمۡ جَنَّٰتٍ تَجۡرِي مِن تَحۡتِهَا ٱلۡأَنۡهَٰرُ خَٰلِدِينَ فِيهَاۚ رَضِيَ ٱللَّهُ عَنۡهُمۡ وَرَضُواْ عَنۡهُۚ أُوْلَٰٓئِكَ حِزۡبُ ٱللَّهِۚ أَلَآ إِنَّ حِزۡبَ ٱللَّهِ هُمُ ٱلۡمُفۡلِحُونَ ﴿سورة المجادلة آية ٢٢﴾.

Chapter (58) sūrat l-mujādilah (She That Disputeth)

Sahih International: You will not find a people who believe in Allah and the Last Day having affection for those who oppose Allah and His Messenger, even if they were their fathers or their sons or their brothers or their kindred. Those - He has decreed within their hearts faith and supported them with spirit from Him. And We will admit them to gardens beneath which rivers flow, wherein they abide eternally. Allah is pleased with them, and they are pleased with Him - those are the party of Allah. Unquestionably, the party of Allah - they are the successful.

Pickthall: Thou wilt not find folk who believe in Allah and the Last Day loving those who oppose Allah and His messenger, even though they be their fathers or their sons or their brethren or their clan. As for such, He hath written faith upon their hearts and hath strengthened them with a Spirit from Him, and He will bring them into Gardens underneath which rivers flow, wherein they will abide. Allah is well pleased with them, and they are well pleased with Him. They are Allah's party. Lo! is it not Allah's party who are the successful?

Yusuf Ali: Thou wilt not find any people who believe in Allah and the Last Day, loving those who resist Allah and His Messenger, even though they were their fathers or their sons, or their brothers, or their kindred. For such He has written Faith in their hearts, and strengthened them with a spirit from Himself. And He will admit them to Gardens beneath which Rivers flow, to dwell therein (for ever). Allah will be well pleased with them, and they with Him. They are the Party of Allah. Truly it is the Party of Allah that will achieve Felicity.

Shakir: You shall not find a people who believe in Allah and the latter day befriending those who act in opposition to Allah and His Messenger, even though they were their (own) fathers, or their sons, or their brothers, or their kinsfolk; these are they into whose hearts He has impressed faith, and whom He has strengthened with an inspiration from Him: and He will cause them to enter gardens beneath which rivers flow, abiding therein; Allah is well-pleased with them and they are well-pleased with Him these are Allah's party: now surely the party of Allah are the successful ones.

Muhammad Sarwar: You will not find any people of faith in God and the Day of Judgment who would establish friendship with those who oppose God and His Messenger, even if it would be in the interest of their fathers, sons, brothers, and kinsmen. God has established faith in their hearts and supported them by a Spirit from Himself. He will admit them to Paradise wherein streams flow to live therein forever. God is pleased with them and they are pleased with God. These are members of the party of God and the party of God will certainly have everlasting happiness.

Mohsin Khan: You (O Muhammad SAW) will not find any people who believe in Allah and the Last Day, making friendship with those who oppose Allah and His Messenger (Muhammad SAW ), even though they were their fathers, or their sons, or their brothers, or their kindred (people). For such He has written Faith in their hearts, and strengthened them with Ruh (proofs, light and true guidance) from Himself. And We will admit them to Gardens (Paradise) under which rivers flow, to dwell therein (forever). Allah is pleased with them, and they with Him. They are the Party of Allah. Verily, it is the Party of Allah that will be the successful.

Arberry: Thou shalt not find any people who believe in God and the Last Day who are loving to anyone who opposes. God and His Messenger, not though they were their fathers, or their sons, or their brothers, or their clan. Those -- He has written faith upon their hearts, and He has confirmed them with a Spirit from Himself; and He shall admit them into gardens underneath which rivers flow, therein to dwell forever, God being well-pleased with them, and they well-pleased with Him. Those are God's party; why, surely God's party -- they are the prosperers.

Engkau tidak akan dapati sesuatu kaum yang beriman kepada Allah dan hari akhirat, tergamak berkasih-mesra dengan orang-orang yang menentang (perintah) Allah dan RasulNya, sekalipun orang-orang yang menentang itu ialah bapa-bapa mereka, atau anak-anak mereka, atau saudara-saudara mereka, ataupun keluarga mereka. Mereka (yang setia) itu, Allah telah menetapkan iman dalam hati mereka, dan telah menguatkan mereka dengan semangat pertolongan daripadaNya; dan Dia akan memasukkan mereka ke dalam Syurga yang mengalir di bawahnya beberapa sungai, mereka tetap kekal di dalamnya. Allah reda akan mereka dan mereka reda (serta bersyukur) akan nikmat pemberianNya. Merekalah penyokong-penyokong (ugama) Allah. Ketahuilah! Sesungguhnya penyokong-penyokong (ugama) Allah itu ialah orang-orang yang berjaya.

[58:22] Tafsir Jalalayn

(Kamu tidak akan mendapati sesuatu kaum yang beriman kepada Allah dan hari akhirat, saling berkasih sayang) artinya berteman (dengan orang-orang yang menentang Allah dan Rasul-Nya sekalipun orang-orang itu) yakni orang-orang yang menentang itu (bapak-bapak mereka) yakni bapak-bapak orang-orang yang beriman (atau anak-anak mereka, atau saudara-saudara mereka, atau pun keluarga mereka) bahkan orang-orang yang beriman itu pasti memusuhi mereka dan memerangi mereka demi keimanannya, sebagaimana yang dialami oleh sebagian para sahabat. (Mereka itulah) orang-orang yang tidak mau berkasih sayang dengan orang-orang yang menentang Allah dan Rasul-Nya (yang Allah telah menanamkan) yakni meneguhkan (keimanan dalam kalbu mereka dan menguatkan mereka dengan cahaya) yakni nur (dari-Nya) dari Allah swt. (Dan dimasukkan-Nya mereka ke dalam surga yang mengalir di bawahnya sungai-sungai, mereka kekal di dalamnya. Allah rida terhadap mereka) karena ketaatan mereka kepada-Nya (dan mereka pun merasa puas terhadap-Nya) atas pahala. (Mereka itulah golongan Allah) artinya yang mengikuti perintah-Nya dan menjauhi larangan-Nya. (Ketahuilah, bahwa sesungguhnya golongan Allah itulah yang beruntung) yang memperoleh keberuntungan.

[58:22] Quraish Shihab

Kamu tidak akan mendapatkan suatu kaum yang percaya kepada Allah dan hari kiamat saling mencinta dengan orang-orang yang memusuhi Allah dan para utusan-Nya, kendati mereka itu adalah bapak, anak, saudara, atau kerabat mereka sendiri. Mereka yang tidak menjadikan orang-orang yang memusuhi Allah sebagai teman, telah ditetapkan imannya oleh Allah di dalam hati mereka. Allah mendukung mereka, dengan kekuatan dari-Nya, dan akhirnya memasukkan mereka ke dalam surga-surga yang dialiri sungai- sungai. Di situ mereka akan kekal, dan akan mendapatkan kesenangan yang tiada putus-putusnya. Mereka dicintai dan mencintai Allah. Mereka itulah kelompok Allah, dan hanya kelompok Allah yang akan menang.

Kamu tak akan mendapati kaum yang beriman pada Allah dan hari akhirat, saling berkasih-sayang dengan orang-orang yang menentang Allah dan Rasul-Nya, sekalipun orang-orang itu bapak-bapak, atau anak-anak atau saudara-saudara ataupun keluarga mereka. Mereka itulah orang-orang yang telah menanamkan keimanan dalam hati mereka dan menguatkan mereka dengan pertolongan yang datang daripada-Nya. Dan dimasukan-Nya mereka ke dalam surga yang mengalir di bawahnya sungai-sungai, mereka kekal di dalamnya. Allah ridha terhadap mereka, dan merekapun merasa puas terhadap (limpahan rahmat)-Nya. Mereka itulah golongan Allah. Ketahuilah, bahwa sesungguhnya hizbullah itu adalah golongan yang beruntung.
